If you manage a group or organization and have been fumbling around with a large email list, WhidbeyNewsTimes.com’s new “Groups” feature may be a good alternative.

With Groups, you can provide a common online meeting space for people with profiles on WhidbeyNewsTimes.com. Let’s say you’ve got a book club and not everyone can make it every week. In that case, a Group would allow you to discuss your group’s activity, post updates about meetings and schedule events all from one place.

Groups can be made public or kept private and there’s no limit to how many people you can add or how many Groups you can create.
