WorkSource Whidbey offers classes on finding jobs

WorkSource Whidbey, also known as Whidbey Career Center, located at 31975 SR 20 Suite 3 in Oak Harbor offers free job preparation workshops for Island County residents and business.

The August Schedule includes:

Job Skills Identification: Aug. 20, 9 a.m. to noon.

Effective Resume Writing: Aug. 21, 9 a.m. to noon.

Interviewing Techniques: Aug. 22, 9 a.m. to noon.

Researching Your Job Market: Aug. 23, 9 a.m. to noon.

Learn Basic Computers: Aug. 30, 9 a.m. to noon.

Workshops just for businesses:

Interviewing from a business Perspective: Aug. 16, 1-3 p.m. and Aug. 28, 6-8 p.m.

How to write a Job Description: August 21, 6-8 p.m. and Aug. 23, 1-3 p.m.

Seating is limited. For reservations or information call 675-5966. WorkSource Whidbey offers many other job seeker and employer services Monday through Friday from 8 a.m. to 5 p.m. All services are no fee.
