Lagasse directs building accounting

Mark Lagasse has joined the Building Industry Association of Whatcom County staff in the position of accounting director.
Lagasse has more than years of bookkeeping experience in Washington State representing a non-profit organization, as well as small businesses. He is a graduate of the ATA-Accounting Program at Skagit Valley College in Oak Harbor. He and his wife reside in Oak Harbor where they raised their two children and now have three grandchildren.
Lance Clark, BIA Whatcom County Executive Officer Lance Clark, said, “We welcome Mark to our professional staffing team as accounting director. His small business and non-profit accounting experience will greatly benefit our approximate 600 member Association.”
